How far is the salt from the A10 Tauern Autobahn motorway?

Our boutique hotel the salt townhouse and both apartment houses the salt residences and the salt vis à vis are 10 minutes from the Hallein exit.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, there are public and paid parking spaces and garages in the immediate vicinity. We recommend the ‘Pernerinsel’ car park or the ‘Altstadt Hallein’ parking garage. For more information, please see Location & Directions.

Do you offer late check-in?

Check-in and check-out are always digital and straightforward. So it's no problem if you arrive later than planned. You will receive all the information you need for check-in in good time before you arrive.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, up to two dogs are allowed per room/apartment. We kindly ask you to register your dog when you book your stay.

No, we do not offer breakfast at the salt townhouse and in our apartments.

However, there are numerous charming breakfast spots nearby, from classic to creative. We are happy to give you tips and recommendations for cafés and bakeries nearby. Just ask or take a look at our digital guest information folder!

However, we can reveal this much: 'That will soon change.' We are currently working on opening 'Die Salzkrämerei, our in-house café and bistro'. It is scheduled to open in spring 2026. From then on, you can look forward to enjoying a delicious breakfast right here in the hotel.

In the meantime, there are numerous charming breakfast spots nearby, from classic to creative. We are happy to give you tips and recommendations for cafés and bakeries nearby. Just ask or take a look at our digital guest information folder!
